Synopsis: After Toad, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch crash land, Quicksilver goes to New York to try to clear their names after siding with Magneto.  He tries and fails to capture Spider-Man, who is wanted by the police.  The two come to an understanding and part on good terms.  (Also a bunch of Spidey subplots are going on, but they're not relevant to this project.)

Page 4, panels 5 and 6

This flashback depicts the Toad, Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch escaping from Magneto's island in the aftermath of Avengers (1963) #53 (technically occurring between page 20.3 and 20.4 of that issue).

(Normally I wouldn't be including appearances of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch after they become Avengers, but the Toad's an X-Men villain, and it does follow up from an X-Men story.  Besides, their next appearance is also an X-Men story.

Page 5

The flashback continues on page 5, and the first two panels of page 6, in which the trio crash their craft in the mountains, and Quicksilver decides to go to New York and explain things to the Avengers.  I've decided to place this story in December of XY 2, about three months after Avengers (1963) #53.  It's a long time for Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch to be flying around with the Toad, but they are wanted fugitives after helping Magneto storm the UN.

Page 7, panel 2

This story is concurrent with Avengers (1963) #62.  Because I already have Avengers (1963) #60 placed in November, this justifies the months the trio spend on the run.  Issue #62 happens while Yellowjacket and Wasp are on their honeymoon (they got married in #60), so the month after their wedding seems about right.

Page 20

Nothing is resolved for Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch and Toad here.  They'll be showing up in the next X-Men storyline.

COUNTING THE DAYS

This story takes place over two days, as follows:

• Page 5.1 to 6.3 flashback: After crash-landing, Quicksilver decides to risk going to New York to seek help from the Avengers.
• Page 1 to 9.3: Quicksilver goes to Avengers HQ, and Jarvis tells him the team is in Africa. Quicksilver sees a newspaper that says Spider-Man is wanted.
• Page 9.4 to 20: Quicksilver tries and fails to apprehend Spider-Man. The two part on good terms.
